The Stockton Row "cottages" were originally built in 1869 as part of the 300+ room Stockton Hotel for wealthy Cape May visitors. The hotel was demolished in 1911, but the John Wesley Inn proudly reminds us of a more elegant time.
Purchased by the Pontins in 2005, the John Wesley Inn & Carriage House has been completely renovated to balance antiques and amenities. It is one of the finest examples of true Victorian restoration anywhere. This owner occupied and operated Inn is open all year and offers a full compliment of seasonal amenities. We're centrally located in the Primary Historic District of Stockton Row, 1/2 block from the beach and 2 blocks from the walking mall. Park your car On-site and "forget about it". Walk to fine dining and shopping.
All rooms have: private bath, individual A/C & heat, LCD TV/DVD, iPod docking stations, wireless access, fireplaces, a personal safe and more. You are surrounded by authentic antiques that take you back to an era that once was. The new guest Sun Room offers a great place to relax and a complete wet bar.
Bonnie cooks and serves a homemade breakfast each day. Afternoon refreshments include tea, cookies and other treats.
We welcome all who wish to step back in time to a period that was fanciful and frivolous. We invite you to visit our B&B, enjoying yesterday today, in the historic town of Cape May. Treat yourself to the best...The John Wesley Inn in Historic Cape May, the Nations first seaside resort.
