LEMON GRASS is wonderfully charming and comfortable. The villa's main level overlooks the blue bay and directly to the beach at Cane Garden Bay; dotted with sail boats and Tortolas lush hills, Jost Van Dyke and St. Thomas at night. The main level consists of the living room, kitchen and dining areas, and the air-conditioned king master suite, all open to the covered verandas bordering this level, the favorite gathering place for sunsets and relaxed dinners. There is also a comfy sitting area at the north end which is great for morning coffee or an afternoon power nap. A covered exterior staircase leads down to the pool level and its two equal air-conditioned king bedroom/bath suites (one with alfresco shower) which opens out through french doors to the covered lower veranda and to the pool and sun deck set with chaise loungers, a very comfy sitting area with mini-fridge and outdoor shower. Tropical palms and potted plants abound throughout the property. Colorfully artistic tile work throughout, accented by island furnishings in wicker, seagrass and teak, and native stonework outside all add to Lemon Grass's warm Caribbean flavor. The kitchen is outfitted with great cookware, colorful place settings, and array of serving pieces, abundant flatware and a Henckel knife collection.
